The Regional Islamic Media Conference continued on 4th June afternoon, with a Forum that carried the theme “Media Digitalisation: Challenges and Opportunities for Islamic Media". The Forum took place at Balai Khazanah Islam Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah.

Present was Dato Seri Setia Doctor Haji Norarfan bin Haji Zainal, Rector of UNISSA. The forum featured several panellists who touched on various issues, including the importance of Islamic media in delivering authentic, ethical and authoritative information amidst the rapid flow of today's digital media. It is hoped that the forum can become a scholarly and professional platform to discuss an Islamic media approach that is more progressive, competitive and responsive to the development of today's global media landscape.
